In Port Moresby, the waste management facility is located at Laloki. It is at the foot of Mt. Lohos, along Hiritano Highway. It is about 20 minutes’ drive from the city. This facility contains;

• PECL HQ – Office Building
• Bund are for hydrocarbon waste storage (89mx40m)
• Ware house
• Distillation Plant
• PortaBurn Incinerator
• Area all fenced around with 2-3m firewall
• 3 phrase power supply (200KVA) Genset

The facility in Lae is located about 3 kilometers away from Nazab Airport. It is situated close to the main Highlands Highway. The area in Lae is all fenced around with the providence of 3 phase power supply.

By last quarter of 2019, more required standard infrastructure development will be put into place. There are promising business prospects still under negotiation. Therefore, building the facility in Lae to ISO required standard is imminent.

 As PECL is always maintaining and upholding standards, Lae facility will also be built to standard Waste Management Facility. Clients are reassured that facility safety standards and requirements will be developed to clients’ expectations by the end of 2019
